Danish director Mathias Rodrigues Bjerre grew up in the rustic harbor town of Esbjerg - his passion for film-making allowed him to not only land a job art-directing national television for Danish Broadcast, but also getting accepted into the prestigious National Filmschool of Denmark at the age of 19.

Since graduating as an Animation Director, Mathias has won numerours awards & special mentions for his shorts that have attended festivals across the world. His work is notable for creating relatable stories across a mixture of genres, often combined with humour and satire. Besides having the skills as a creative director and writer, Mathias is a creative polymath, with deep technical skills in the creation of digital & animated content. He has over 12 years experience animating with a wide range in style and expression, from stylized 2D to realistic 3D - with a firm grasp in every aspect of the animation production pipeline.

While Mathias directs commercials and new shorts, he is simultaneously developing longer format content for TV and film with production companies A.Film A/S and Angel Films A/S
